Alternet Estate Software
Developed for some of the world's most prestigious families. It is a modular system. The individual software modules can
be selected to suit the needs of the owner's lifestyle and the household's staffing. Alternet has experts ready to install
the software, input information to get you started, train staff and provide continuing support.
These software packages bring order, style and value to residences by providing a central place where all the information
pertinent to the home will reside, can be called up "on demand," and can be efficiently managed by either the principal
and/or the household staff. This product can be web-based on a secured server or created on your own server.

Estate Home©
Estate Home is the home page and key communication component of the Alternet system. It is a common point of entry that
allows household managers and owners to easily manage calendars, photo galleries and announcements while providing secure
access to shared address books, tools and links.
Collections©
This module consolidates the artistic and practical information on pieces in a collection. This browser-based system allows
for intuitive navigation of the contents.
Library©
Library© helps clients manage their collections that may contain priceless rare books, letters and manuscripts, and
consolidates the artistic and practical information on pieces in a collection.
Travel©
Because individuals who own their own planes do not have the luxury of having an airline produce an itinerary for them,
Travel© addresses the common problems of efficiently creating a travel plan and then communicating that plan effectively
to family and staff.
Facilities©
Even a smaller complex residence has an infrastructure that involves thousands of working parts. Facilities© enables
an owner or household manager to exercise increased control over the household. Facilities© allows for quick adding,
retrieval, and viewing of drawings, photos, procedures, parts inventory and asset information important in maintaining the
structures, grounds and home furnishings.
Architecture and Gardens©
Architecture and Gardens© provides an in-depth view of a home's grounds and structures. This module focuses on the
individual features of the buildings and grounds. Interesting aspects of buildings (e.g., materials - stone, glass, wood, etc.)
and history can be highlighted and individual plants and animals can be classified and described.
Event©
Event© is a groupware module where staff can coordinate the efforts needed to pull off an event that pleases everyone.
From tracking guest information, event flow and additional security needs, what types of service and amenities and coordinating
any additional or special audio/visual needs. From whether the fireplaces should be lit, to food and beverages.
Guest©
Who is coming in when? Where are they staying? What special needs does the staff need to be aware of? Do they need a car, a
morning paper, laundry service, internet access? Interaction with the principals? If they were here before, the staff would
have all this information.
Visitor©
The module that begins with personnel at the front gate. Checking principals, staff and vendors in and out. From there, that
information goes to a QuickBar© on our home page. In the principal's case, it lets you know if they are on or off property.
In the staff's case, it lets you know if they are on or off property and with the correct privileges. It lets you view their mail,
calendar, and in the case of vendors, lets you know how many are on property at all times. It will generate transaction reports
by date and by vendor as well as provide a central repository for information on "Persons of interest". It will also track NDA's
and Certificates of Insurance.
Food and Beverage©
A way for the chef to build, print and distribute menus. It can store preferences for visiting chefs. It will be a repository
for the chef to store information on what the owner ate on a particular menu and to rate it. This will be a valuable storehouse
of information for any incoming chef. It can also house the kitchen calendar and a database of recipes.
Estate View©
A Macromedia flash based graphical viewer for estate elements. It is a GPS based interactive map of the property, upon which
informational points can be displayed. Staff uses would be a quick display of items like electrical, gas and water mains, road
boxes and cameras. Owner / guest uses might be trails, arts and architectural and landscape features. It can display information
directly from an AutoCAD point's database.
Guest Dashboard©
Like hitting a hot spot in the airport, the Guest Dashboard© will be the default destination for all guests on the estate network.
It is a Macromedia flash story engine with some built-in guest services functionality. Here guests can make requests of the staff,
find estate FAQ's, view the calendar of events while they are on property and interact with the pre-defined categories of concierge
information. It will act as an active desktop application on all estate provided laptops, (PC or MAC).
Automobiles©
Like the Library© module, Automobiles© will serve 2 masters, in that it will provide a tool for staff to manage
automobiles that are both collectables and drivers. It can showcase an 80 year old Ferrari driven by Enzo himself, as well
as the maintenance records of staff utility vehicles. Like Collections©, the information viewed by owner / guest may be
entirely different than the staff. The Automobile© module will also be extended to manage preferences such as remotes,
radio station pre-sets, seat positions, etc.
Wine©
Wine© management is very similar to Collections©, other than it is consumable and it expires. It will be logical
for us to eventually integrate this with the Kitchen© (Food and Beverage©) module for wine pairing with meals and
serving at events.
Operations & Maintenance CD-ROM
Alternet creates Electronic O&M Manuals for commercial buildings, and Electronic Flight Bags (EFB) for private jets based on
our Facilities© software for large estates. These CD-ROM based systems can contain drawings, product manuals, procedures
and photographs all in a light-weight, searchable and mobile format.
