A client's daughter had traveled to a remote part of Italy to study painting during her summer vacation. She planned to return home just before her semester began at college. When she missed her flight, we were able to send a driver to take her to Malpensa airport in Milan to catch a connecting flight. However, once there, she was refused passage onto the plane as her passport had expired during her stay. Her parents called us and frantically explained the situation. We were able to contact someone at the US Consulate after-hours and within 45 minutes the airlines received a faxed letter directly from the Consulate confirming the US citizenship of our client’s daughter. She was allowed to board and was right on schedule for her first day back at school.

A newlywed couple was trying to have a baby. As time passed, the wife shared with us that she and her husband were considering IVF because they had been unsuccessful at conceiving naturally. In the conversation, the subject of holistic medicine was addressed and we decided to recommend an acupuncturist in our network that specialized in fertility issues. The woman took down the name and number and wanted to discuss things with her husband before making an appointment. A few days passed and the woman called to tell us disappointedly that there was a six-month waiting list to see the doctor we had recommended. We immediately called the acupuncture office and were able to get her an appointment within 48 hours. We’re pleased to report that they recently had a healthy baby boy.

It was 7:45pm in Los Angeles when I received a call from a client on a business trip in New York. He was catching a red-eye flight back to Los Angeles but had completely forgotten his wife's birthday the following day. He was desperate to do something special for her and was convinced that a piece of jewelry from her favorite store would be the perfect gift, only the store was closed on Sundays. We were able to contact the storeowner on his mobile phone and set up a private viewing for our client upon his arrival early Sunday morning from the airport and before heading home.

The parents of one of our clients had given he and his wife a very expensive, handcrafted chandelier from France when they were first married. Years later after a routine cleaning, several pieces came loose, fell to the ground and shattered. Without asking the parents, we had to find out which factory the chandelier came from in order to ship it back to be fixed. Once we located the factory, we were told that the designers had divorced and split the business between them, and at that particular location they were not able to reconstruct the chandelier. With a little more research we were able to find the spouse and other "half" of the factory that could do the repair. We shipped the piece in its entirety and five months later it was returned in perfect condition.
